Tara Sabre. She is an impact investor, social entrepreneur and strategist with over 15 years of experience supporting philanthropic and commercial funds and social enterprises across Africa, Asia and Latin America.
Prior to her MBA, she worked at the United Nations, the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation, where she contributed to research and publications on gender and economic development. She also led her own emerging markets economic development company, which trained over 2,000 entrepreneurs across Latin America and Africa, in collaboration with various bilateral donors, NGOs, corporates and governments. These included USAID, TechnoServe, Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women, and the government of Brazil. Post-MBA, she worked for GroFin Capital, one of Africa’s largest SME impact investment funds, as well as with Ernst and Young, where she advised Arabian Gulf investors and governments on investment decisions, including impact investment and venture capital.
Collier completed her MBA at Saïd Business School as a Skoll scholar. She also earned her MPA specializing in International Public/Non-Profit Management and Policy at New York University. She earned her BA in Spanish & International Affairs at Spelman College.
